About the venue
On Paseo del Parque, in Sotogrande (San Roque), just a few kilometres from Gibraltar, Trocadero Sotogrande occupies the site of the once-legendary El Cucurucho beach club, whose pale-blue inverted-cone landmark still stands on the property. The venue was fully redesigned in 2015 by decorator Lorenzo Queipo de Llano, in a tropical-colonial style.
Two pools shape the space: one reserved for adults, overlooking a large palm-lined pool with the Mediterranean as a backdrop, and another in a separate family area, with sunbeds steps from Sotogrande beach, Balinese beds and shaded hammocks.
The angle here is a two-speed beach club: a calmer, more polished adult side and a more relaxed family side, both set on one of the most sought-after beaches on the Cadiz coast.
