The Beach House
Why choose this venue
About the venue
On Jl. Pantai Gili Trawangan, in the Gili Indah district, The Beach House sits on the Lombok Strait, along the island's quieter southern stretch, well away from the buzz of Main Street. Low-slung buildings and natural materials echo Balinese and Lombok architecture, spread across a dense tropical garden dotted with bungalows, villas and tree houses.
Two pools set the pace: a freshwater pool with its own bar and wide sun loungers on the beach side, and a shadier courtyard pool tucked under the palms. The restaurant sits right on the sand at the water's edge, turning the beach into the dining room. Villas such as Japun come with a private pool and a kitchen-lounge setup, built for groups or families.
This isn't a party address: it's a beachfront base on Gili T's calmer side, a short walk from the harbour and the island's dive shops, for anyone after the beach without the noise of downtown.
