About the venue

On Littoral Frédéric Mistral, right by the entrance to Le Mourillon's main car park and next to the playground, Petit Sud sits in Anse Mistral, one of the coves along Le Mourillon beach. The decor runs on raw wood, greenery and flea-market finds, set straight on the sand rather than behind a polished façade.

Sunbeds and mattresses rent by the day, with private showers, restrooms, wheelchair access, wifi and nearby parking. Lifeguards watch over the swimming area in season. The venue works as an all-day beach spot to settle into, not just a lunch stop by the water.

It's a laid-back Le Mourillon hangout, built as much for lounging as for the table, somewhere between a family beach shack and a proper beach bar.

On the sweet side, an in-house pastry chef handles desserts daily, right down to a café petit sud treated as a dessert in its own right. The bar follows the same logic, with cocktails that are crafted rather than rushed, best enjoyed on the shaded terrace or with your feet in the sand.
