Isla Columpios is a hidden paradise located near Chuburná Puerto, close to Progreso, on Yucatán’s northern coast. This sandbank surrounded by mangroves and natural channels offers a rare landscape where the water shifts from transparent to turquoise and mint green.
Access is by lancha after an organised departure from Mérida or Progreso, with daily outings at 9:00 am. From the moment you arrive, the experience is built around an immediate sense of escape: very shallow water, pale sand, light facilities, and a striking natural setting.
This is not a standardised beach club, but a simple, highly visual island day experience in an environment where the sea often feels like a natural pool.
